About Us

Ikwiriri Children's Home was established to provide safe and consistent care to vulnerable children in Rufiji District, Pwani Region, Tanzania.

Our Founder's Heart

At the heart of Ikwiriri Children's Home is a compassionate woman who has dedicated her life to caring for vulnerable children. With a mother's love and unwavering commitment, she founded this home to provide not just shelter, but a family environment where children feel safe, valued, and loved.

For years, she has supported these children from her own resources, ensuring they have food, clothing, education, and most importantly—a sense of belonging. She is mother, teacher, counselor, and protector to each child in her care. Her sacrifice and devotion have given these children a second chance at life.

However, the growing needs of the children have become too great for one person to bear alone. She is now reaching out to compassionate individuals and organizations around the world to help sustain and expand this vital work. With your support, we can continue her mission and provide even better care for these precious children.

Our Values

  • Dignity: Every child is treated with respect and love.
  • Protection: We safeguard children's privacy and best interests.
  • Community: We work with local leaders and families for long-term impact.
  • Transparency: We steward donations responsibly and openly.
